I wanted to like it but you can't close the app or it will lose connection and you have to go outside again to reconnect. I reconnect, go back to the house and the connection drops. I mean, if I have to stay really close to a smoker outside, with an app open all the time, what's the use of a Bluetooth thermometer? Update - now it lost bluetooth connection completely. So it's not even worth the 20 minute drive to send it back to Revain, it's going straight in the trash. Disappointing to say the least
