Strong metal and very high. Holds many things. However, not all holes match screws. I believe that you need to work on the manufacturing process of this item. I had to bend one of the legs on either end and partially screw in two screws on the side to bring them together. A vertical column will need reinforcement screws or bolts on both sections as it will wobble even when tight. There were also scratches all over the surface. I received a 33% refund on this item. It's functional, but far from perfect, and it took a lot of effort to achieve that.
