Doesn't work for iPhone finger button

I really wanted to love them. But the problem is that if you have the iPhone's touch circle to open the phone, it DOESN'T WORK! So for 3 members of my family I got them because they couldn't use their phone in a bag while on vacation. They kept the phones dry and sand free which was good. Part of the necklace is a ribbon which is fine but a rope would be nice. Also, 2 of them lost one of the twists/clasps at the top making it impossible for me to close them. There's also a ziploc closure, but I wouldn't want to risk it. If I had received them sooner I would have sent them back. To be honest I don't know if any of these cases will work on an iPhone 8 or older unfortunately for taking photos or text inside the case.
