Review on 🍴 finessCity Titanium Utility Cutlery Set: Strong, Lightweight, and Versatile - Ideal for Home, Travel, and Camping by Mike Devine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

ALMOST PERFECT: Outdoor Recreation

Since my son joined the Boy Scouts, he has inherited his father's cutlery and cutlery set, so I (who is my companion) have to make do with what I have can get . Replacing the cutlery set was no problem and for the past two years I've settled for a titanium cutlery spatula. But sometimes, excuse the pun, the fork just doesn't fit. My original intent was to find one of those cutlery sets that folds flat and rivets onto the spoon just like my 45 year old stainless steel cutlery that the boy is now claiming. Unfortunately, nobody around has them (at least not every time I check), and the reviews for the ones I find here at Revain aren't particularly flattering. So I decided to order this set. They arrived yesterday so obviously I haven't tested them in the field yet (that will be in two weeks time) but they look and feel like quality products. Easily four times thicker than my spork, even thicker than my old stainless steel kit (although they should probably be titanium). The handles are shorter than standard utensils, which is to be expected but perfectly acceptable, although eating from a retort with a spoon would be pretty messy. The spoon head size is the same as a standard teaspoon (instead of the more common tablespoon size). The serrated knife is well made and the serrated edges look good. I only have two complaints about the set. The first is to bring them together. It's quite a complicated process, at least at first glance, but I'll master it in the end. There are no real problems. But I wish the fork had a longer and wider head. Don't get me wrong, this will work and it's better than my spatula, but it would be much better if it was a little longer and a little wider so the gaps between the tongs wouldn't be so narrow. So here it is. Will I order it again? Most likely when I needed it. Well done? Of course it seems. Nice and fat. The knife's teeth are clean and sharp. Twist the plug a little and I'll give it a solid 5 stars if not used. Score up to 5. In my original review I had two issues with it: 1. It was difficult to put back together and 2. I felt the fork was too small for my liking. Well, it's still an issue putting it together, but the fork size didn't turn out to be an issue. (In fact, I just ate a packet of spaghetti and meatballs I brought to work for lunch, and that was one dish I really thought wouldn't work with a fork.) So choose FAST perfect and substitute it by FUCKING . Nearly perfect. In the meantime I will order another set.
