I was looking for a mandolin with a good thick cut, at least 6mm, for canning. This product was advertised by offering different sizes and thicknesses. When I received the product, I quickly realized that this was not entirely true. They are extremely limited in the thickness and variety of pre-made blades. I returned the item and bought an Aldi professional mandolin with a joint of up to 11mm for $9.
