Got my new Recon 200 today. Over the last year I've tried countless headphones and headsets to find the right sound, comfort and mic. The Recon 200 was successful on many levels. The constant bass boost is an unprecedented experience that is sure not for everyone. In games like H1Z1 and CODS Blackout Beta, I can confuse people with amplified audio. Speaking of audio, yes the PS4 controller is loud enough for them (most likely due to the built-in amplifier), if you're tired of the controller's low volume and don't want to buy a separate amplifier, this might very well be what you want to try. The user manual says 12 hours on a single charge (because they're charged they need to be recharged) and I've yet to see if that lasts. If you need more time, consider the Stealth 300. The mic has been great so far, the mute is such a clutch feature! These are definitely not "audiophile" headphones, but for a gaming headset with crisp sound, bass you can feel and wear comfortably for hours? Turtle Beach succeeded!
