The package that arrived clearly looked as if it had been sent back earlier. There was almost no tape and I was surprised to see that all the contents of the box were still there. The building process was a bit tricky. The instructions aren't great, but with common sense anyone can figure out how to put it together. I have arthritis in my hands so some parts of the assembly process were very difficult. There are also some minor issues like peeling paint, ripped Velcro, and misaligned holes. When everything is assembled, however, it feels solid. Legged suction cups were completely useless on my vinyl floors. My 9.5 lb cat flipped it over a few times. The toys were a great bonus as one of my cats spent a lot of time playing with it before finally settling on a hammock. Overall, this is a great addition to any cat house. My 18 lb cat didn't care but I think that's because he barely fits in. I haven't washed the hammock yet, but I don't see that as a big problem in the future.
