Review on Renewed Apple iPhone XS US Version in Gold, 64GB with AT&T by Anuson Rachso ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

I have been using the phone for almost 2 months now. chose between XS, XR and the usual 11 (not Pro). I didn’t consider the MAX versions of the devices, since it’s not very convenient for me to hold them in my hand (physically I can’t confidently wrap one hand around as tightly as I can grab a regular iPhone 8 (not Plus)). the first thing that is immediately noticeable is that the XR and 11 have a larger display than the XS, but I choose not on the basis of "bigger, faster and cooler", but on practicality (in my understanding of the word), ease of use of the phone, but the graphic resolution of the XR and 11 displays is significantly lower than that of the XS, as well as other parameters of these displays, such as technology (IPS), contrast. in these parameters, the display of the XS is better, although it is physically slightly smaller. I must say, the displays of the XR and 11 are the same in everything. initially I wanted to consider models with 128 GB of memory, this would be enough for me (64 GB is not enough for me personally), but it turned out that some models (XS) do not have such an option, they have either 64 GB or 256 GB and 512 GB at once, and here XR and 11 have options with 128 GB. having studied other various characteristics of these 3 devices (XS, XR and 11), I realized for myself that the XR is a cheaper version of the XS (the filling is the same, but the display, the camera is simpler). 11 has a more powerful processor than the XS, but otherwise it’s not better and, as I said above, the display is simpler. in other words, there is a certain line of simplified devices that are conceived just like that. throughout history, such devices have been 5C, SE, XR and 11. in the end, I made my choice in favor of XS. and looking at the prices of these 3 phone models (XS, XR and 11) and all their options with memory capacity, it turned out that at the time of purchase, the XS with 256 GB of memory cost only 3,000 cheaper than the XS with 512 GB of memory . the difference in price is very small, but the memory is 2 times more! so I bought an XS with 512 GB of storage.

Pros
  • 1. OLED display (image quality, colors, black color is sooooo black, which indicates a fairly high contrast ratio); 2. the device itself is fast (although the speed of work is known in comparison, but at the moment it is fast for me); 3. A full battery charge with my phone operating conditions is enough for 2 full working days (calls, SMS, instant messengers, Internet. I don’t play games on the phone, I don’t watch movies on it either); 3. loud stereo sound; 4. really like how the phone plays music through the headphones. For me, this parameter is important. it is clear that the sound quality depends not only on the phone itself, but also on the quality of the recording itself and the headphones themselves. I had the opportunity to “test” the sound of different devices (not iPhone) (friends, work colleagues) using the same recordings and using the same headphones; 5. nice soft wires.
Cons
  • 1. nevertheless, the phone is a bit large, but this is a matter of habit and personal preferences; 2. insufficiently long wires (in particular USB data cable). well, or long enough, if the outlet is located right next to the bed, table and those places where you are most often; 3. very poor quality of wire insulation. it tends to break down over time around Lightning and USB plugs. no matter how carefully and scrupulously you use them, the insulation near the plugs will still crack and collapse after a while; 4. no 3.5mm mini jack headphone!
