Great Accessory Accessory

I got almost what I expected from this product so it's always about as much as you'd expect unless you have particularly low expectations of it the product. I was hoping it would look as good as the photos and it definitely does, plus a few other things. It has flaws but it's not as expensive as the big name keyboards and it's still working well after a few months and if you like the style I honestly don't know of any alternative that even remotely matches the modern typewriter . - I think I once saw an expensive refurbished keyboard with all the problems, their keys had sub-optimal key layout and row tilt, making the top row much higher than the bottom row, and lost replicas Share cool points to solve some of these problems and introduce some useful keys not found on a true vintage typewriter. Stuff like that is actually meant to make hipsters look cool and retro without caring about keyboard functionality because computers are "crappy" or something, right? Besides liking it, here are definitely some pros and cons: Pros: - Full functionality in all aspects described and as easy as plug and play - All controls and color/effect/brightness options are as Command keyboard available without the need for accompanying software or complicated setup processes for relatively limited functionality (unlike some big, expensive gamers - if you look at; Corsair (particularly) and Logitech. Realistic software allowing for multiple layers of effects ( like - color/colors, ripple effect, tap effect like single color change or ripple/pebbles-in-the-pond effect, that's about as much as anyone can handle or look good) You can add more but this will either not noticed because the colors are similar to the ones used, or you can add sharp sudden bits of unexpected color in such a way that only reduces the quality of the vo existing effect; Several constant changes conflict, as do several typing reagent settings. Essentially the combination of a range of primaries/colors/animations and the available addition of something like a ripple effect is a lot of movement and frankly more than what looks good in this style - I have a warm white/yellow and orange background colour. and print effect in a cooler, lighter/white color scheme and that's more than enough, the reaction animation might be over the top for some, and with that old tint of warmer (2-3,000 Kelvin) light temperature old lightbulbs were done pretty extraordinarily, just works well. You can do rainbows and crazy things if you want without even touching a computer. - You can also control the side light independently - The mechanical feel of the keys is good, as are the nice clicks they produce as long as you don't have to be silent - Home office yes, work office probably not if you're a boss, or at least own office to have. - The price is acceptable for the quality and features, at least where some keyboards cost $150-200 for (I think) intangible benefits in response time etc. and software that can also easily install macros etc but it's probably not worth it for non-gamers and I doubt they'll get it anyway because it might not be the best layout for it. - Seems well made, no issues - Makes a good impression in a more traditional office for example (I moved into a house with an old fashioned wood paneled office and found a large antique wood/brass desk with inlaid green leather top that can be bought and fits visually perfect - only the monitors seem a bit out of place Not the fastest way to type as the shape and layout of the keys won't set a WPM record for you, but if you use the numeric keyboard more than the keys like me, and usually average 120 -180 wpm, you can drop down to 50-100 wpm or so, but that's fine for many uses, including many work needs.Above that.- Full size numeric keypad, very convenient and easy to use Use options trading as my main vocation, i need it the most and it hasn't let me down or even caused a typo Cons: - Wired - Saving of setup keys
