I bought this speaker to listen to music and podcasts while cleaning. Airpods are good for this too, but I want to hear my kids, doorbell, etc. The first one I ordered worked great for a while but then stopped charging and wouldn't turn on. As this happened within a short time of purchase, I contacted the seller and found that they were more than responsive and did everything they could to resolve my issue. They texted me to make sure I was happy with their solution, which I found very impressive. I can't comment on the waterproofness as I've never used it in water. I've left it on the bathroom counter when showering or on the edge of the tub when bathing and it has worked well for that purpose. Where this product really stands out is the seller's customer service skills. They didn't have to do what they did to ensure my happiness - a single customer - but they did, and that means a lot, especially in a market where options are plentiful.
