Review on Thermopro TM01 Kitchen Timers: Count Up/Countdown Digital Timer with Touch Backlit - Perfect for Cooking, Kids & Classroom Study by Paul Evangelista

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best timer/watch on the market

My wife and I have bought over 20 different timers over the past 25 years. She used them to time special reading and math tests. I need them for UV treatment for psoriasis on hands and feet, cooking, reminders and alarms. Models ranged from expensive WESTBEND ($30+) to unnamed Chinese-made models ($5). The best were the old ones – the old 1980s models. However, recent changes and cheap components made it a poor buy. Therm Pro is the successor to the king. At the moment he is the best. Here"good" and"bad". BENEFITS.1. PRICE: $11 cheap.2. FEATURES: The window is huge. Thus, the numbers on the LEDs are legible and understandable. Device controls are not as intuitive as WESTBEND. After consulting the operating instructions, this is not a problem. There is a backlight; the volume control has four volume settings; four small rubber pads on the back prevent slipping; and cheap AAA batteries are used as the power source. The alarm is loud enough to be heard through the doors, the floor and 50 feet away.3. WARRANTY: One year is standard. However, the warranty is extended to three years after registration on the website.4. 10% OFF CERTIFICATE: This is for a future purchase. CONS.1. Two small magnets are not strong enough to hold the timer on the fridge door.2. Instead of a hard plastic case, use hard rubber. This protects against accidental drops and makes the device waterproof.
