I've had them for about 5 months now. When I first received them, like all kitchen utensils, I washed them in the dishwasher. After the first wash, all knives had something plaque-like on one or both sides of the blade. Since then the same thing has happened with spoons and there is a metallic taste when eating with spoons. Recently the forks have started to rust. The handles of all utensils were unaffected, leading me to believe it is some form of coating or coating on the blade/spoon/teeth of the utensil that peels off over time to reveal the unfinished metal underneath . You're good for looks. If you're looking for cookware that will last a while, look elsewhere.
