I'm 5'6" and wear a size 6 so I bought the small. The fit was true to size, I like tight tops so if you are my size you can increase the size. My arms are pretty muscular but it suits them. I recently relocated to Iowa from Texas and got active again. I love running on the weekends but got too cold with what I had. I saw rave reviews about this product so I decided to give it a try. I ran in it twice, once in 26 degrees and once in 30 degrees (although it was colder due to the cold wind). I run in a puff vest so my mids were nice and warm. My hands were a little cold, but that was easily remedied with a fairly thin quarter-zip sweater. It was great as a windbreak on my high neck, was great and didn't irritate me like my quarter zip. Overall a great purchase!
