Excellent construction including an excellent cable that plugs firmly into the USB3. On a Mac, read/write speeds of 530/460 MB/s respectively are good, but only if the SSD's fast cache buffer is free and SSD storage is "pre-erased". SSD cards cannot overwrite previously erased data unless that data was erased in a separate pass, with write speeds dropping to 6MB/s during pre-flushing. One day I found out about this unusual behavior (from everything I've been told, SSD). I was very happy with this 1TB device and I have 2 of them.
