They are excellent for the price and clean incredibly well. However, you should know that they can and do stain, and I learned that the hard way. Even after first washing them as directed, I used the yellow one to wipe down the very white marble surface in my bathroom (I know. My fault. In hindsight - a real slut). I came back a few hours later and the entire surface was covered in yellow spots. The marble was (last) sealed with impregnation/sealer and the yellow color was still oozing out of the fabric and into the tile. Our mason came and looked and said that the chemical in the cleaning solution had probably broken down and transferred the dyes in the fabric. We managed to remove most of it using baking soda, rubbing alcohol, acetone and lots of scrapers and patience. But the large portions had yet to be replaced. We tested with two other fabric colors (blue and purple) and they also colored the marble. Even after multiple washes and uses, some cleaners pull the color out of them, which becomes apparent when I rinse and wring them out in the sink. We mainly use Frau Meyers and these products are fine. But anything harsher, including plain vinegar, will cause the color to bleed. Overall, I have no regrets about the purchase and I still use them every day. You are fantastic. Whoo, maybe order some whites to use on porous or mottled or light colors.
