Works. How. I received several DTCs before installing, these codes have been fixed. So three stars for that. Loses two stars because it causes erratic idling when cold. Idling fluctuates between 700-1100 rpm. After the car warms up and starts, everything works. I tested with another VANOS solenoid valve, OEM works fine regardless of engine temperature. 2011 MCS, R56 with N18 engine.

Pros

Replacing Mini Cooper Vanos restores fuel efficiency and returns the variable valve timing system to normal operation
