Bought this camera for a vacation and the price is right.. Pros: Super light! This camera is really portable, fits perfectly in your hand and is small enough to fit in a car cup holder. It's also pretty easy to use. Just point, click and get started. I also like the photo function. The photos I took with him turned out well. They're not impressive, but they still look good. The video I shot with it looks good too. Connecting to my computer was easy and the transfer was painless. I didn't need to charge the device while using it, so battery life wasn't an issue for me. Cons: My complaints about him are only minor quarks. I wish it had a rear viewfinder instead of relying on a panel on the side. Once you get used to it, it won't be a problem, but if you've never had a camera like this before, it might be confusing. Also, the zoom switch at the top is upside down for me compared to my old camera. So when I wanted to enlarge something, it didn't work and I had to go the other way. Again, it's not a problem once you get used to it. The record button also seems a little out of place, but given the size of the camera, it really can't be anywhere. My only other complaint is that I can't get the camera to write to the SD card all the time, it always wants to save to internal storage even when I tell it to save to SD. Conclusion: I bought it because I knew I wouldn't like it and if I didn't like it I would return it. However, the camera did a great job, which is what I asked of it. The pros I've seen outweigh the cons, although the cons are more personal than the actual cons of the camera itself. If you're looking for a small, portable HD camera, this is a great choice.
