When I received mine in the mail, the first thing I liked was the detailed box and refillable packaging that contains the pads. I've used velvet pads more than charcoal pads because I don't wear makeup regularly, but this is perfect because you get a fair amount of both in one pack (10 white pads and 10 charcoal pads), just in case. The velvet glides smoothly over my cleanser as if I hardly felt anything! I use cleansing foam so I can get a smooth lather no matter what. Using an exfoliating cleanser makes it easier and gentler to apply and won't irritate your skin. It takes a bit of rubbing to get rid of dirt, but with hand soap and a little water, it's great! When my face gets greasy during the day I just wet a pad and run it over my face and it quickly removes excess oil and dirt! Good product! Worth every penny! Not flimsy and REUSABLE!
