Okay folks sometimes the reviews are right. I just received these yesterday. I was very excited as I've been using bamboo toothbrushes for a few months but was hoping for a cheaper plastic-free version. The one I bought was a little over $16, but the bristles were plastic. I decided to try these because they were bamboo and had charcoal bristles. I started brushing my teeth last night. No problem. This morning. My mouth started bleeding. Small fragments fly out. It hurts and honestly it's not worth it. I'm sticking with the more expensive look from now on because it doesn't rough my mouth. There's a reason they're being sold.
