very strong and smooth, doesn't feel like a rubber mat
I bought the light gray ones for my 2011 Prius and have driven about 5000 miles with passengers. The texture looks great and feels good underfoot, not like rubber. My hard-soled shoes are worn from texture and have exposed black rubber in a small area where my heels dig in. The Velcro connection to the carpet is great. It's easy to vacuum off, but a damp scrub is essential if you want to remove any remaining dirt from the texture.
