Wrong gas cap best fits gas caps

before i order this product they said it fits 08 chevy silverado but it didn't work when i received this product i put it in my truck right away installed but after 20 minutes the check engine light came on and the warning light was on telling me to tighten the covers, i tightened them again but it didn't work and i noticed that they look different than the ones i have, so i'm sending them back.
