Review on 🔧 Park Tool HCW-11 Slotted Bottom Bracket Adjusting Cup Wrench: 16mm Precision Tool for Bike Maintenance by Adam Tidd

The tool works great with a little trick (thanks RJtheBikeGuy!). However, with a tight, immobile shell, it tends to slip off. However, take a 3/8" bolt with 1/2" washers and slide the bolt with washers through the hole from the inside of the bracket so the bolt is sticking out. Then put 1" or 1 1/2" flat washers on the end of the bolt protruding from the fixed shell, grease some threads, insert the Park Tool HCW-11 into the slots in the fixed shell and pull tighten the screw . , now the tool can not slip or slip off the fixed cup. Now you can tap or hit it with a hammer or get a lever with a pipe and it won't slip off. Works like a charm!
