These were perfect for setting up the small surround back speakers in my living room. They are at their lowest height in the photos, which puts them right at the top of my cut. If needed, they can be raised and raised a foot or two by turning the adjustment ring - like a mic stand. There are adapters for different speaker hole options so chances are they will fit. However, I wouldn't recommend them for speakers much larger than mine. The reason I only gave them 4 stars was because the wires didn't run in the tubes. It says you can run the cables through the stands, but that's only true if you're using very thin, old-school speaker cables. Most new speakers have thicker wire as you can see in the pictures. I bought some thin One Wrap Velcro to secure the wire. Looks good, but I would have preferred to hide them inside.
