Real and fake best among artificial plants and flowers

I have a real fiddle leaf fig plant which is similar in height to this fake from GEPLS so I thought it would be a good opportunity to compare them. I took photos and compared both plants from different angles, side up, under the leaves etc. In all my photos I placed the real plant on the left and the fake one on the right. The fake looks beautiful right out of the box. It didn't take long to lay out or stack the sheets. It is planted in a small, black, weighted pot, making the plant strong and unlikely to fall. For general aesthetics, place a small black pot in a basket or ceramic pot and it will greatly enhance the look of the fake plant. Adding a bit of craft moss to the top of the pot can also help, as it only contains a few splinters of moss colored green. Attaching the pot is easy and hassle free, which is what I expected as most fake plants arrive that way. Fiddle Leaf Fig. The fake plant's leaves are smaller, darker green, and further apart than my real one. Look at my photos and I think you can see that the real leaves are bigger and rounder, there are more of them and there isn't much empty, open space on the stem. Of course, the artificial plant has no spots while my real plant has brown spots on some leaves; The spots are quite large on a pair of leaves. These brown spots will persist unless the leaf dies and falls off completely. And of course the weather is warm now and I can leave the real plant outside for easier care, but when it gets cold I have to bring it home or else it will freeze and die. So I have to find a place in the house where he will be happy with enough light, warmth and humidity, three things that are difficult to find in our house in winter. So when spring comes again, the poor thing could look pretty bad. Obviously this is not a problem with fakes, it will always look perfect. Dusting now and then is all he needs. You can place it anywhere and then forget about it. No watering, fertilizing, looking for invasive bugs, worrying about weather or humidity, etc. One tip for making a fake look more real is to not put it next to the real one. From my photos it's pretty obvious that the fake is a fake because it's next to the real one. But when I see this plant in its place in our house, it always seems real to me. So, in my opinion, it's not surprising that a real plant wins when it looks real and organic, but an artificial plant wins when it comes to lightness. care and beautiful appearance forever.
