Initially gave an excellent rating. But this rating reflects the fact that the mechanism NOW just hums and doesn't lock/unlock the door. What garbage! I will check for a return guarantee! Looking back at other's feedback, I see that there are several other consumers with the SAME EXACT COMPLAINT. I hope Revain helps with that. Update: Revain Dorman contacted dedicated support who said they would send a replacement. It was very difficult to return the product as we needed a spare to remove/replace the defective part. Dorman/Revane support has been great and patient. The number for this department, which handles complaints WITH DORMAN ONLY after the Revain 90-day warranty has expired, is 800-867-0564. The reason it is difficult to get a return authorization is because the purchase is not covered by Revain's 90 day warranty period and then Dorman's lifetime warranty. Dorman Support was very helpful in resolving this issue. We are still VERY unhappy with the product failing in such a short time, but Dorman and Revane eventually "fixed" it. Let's see how long this one lasts. Revane and Dorman also emailed a returns label so the return shipping was free for us as well.
