An application called "Konnwei Battery Tester" is used for this. It was pretty easy to set up and allows you to track different batteries, which is useful for tracking multiple batteries, be it a car or a solar array. The waveform works very well and updates very quickly, maybe 10-15 times a second or so, saving the chart for later each time. The battery test (or "standard test") is a bit tricky in itself, but the best thing I can do is either let the engine run for a few minutes or put the battery in a charger for a few hours and test right away. battery if the voltage is between 12.7 and 12.9 volts. The alternator test worked, but I'm not sure how it could "stress" the battery, although it also shows the ripple voltage and shows how much voltage it's charging to. The crank test is pretty cool and useful with a chart showing 'max' voltage, 'minimum' voltage and even start time! However, the results for my machine make me wonder if their diagnosis might not be entirely correct. My battery has been draining lately as can be seen in one of the photos I posted and if you look at the test the minimum voltage spike has dropped to 6.95V which is way too low in my opinion , but the app concluded it was fine. In my opinion it is a valuable tool, especially the waveform can be very useful for diagnostic work.
