This is an amazing bread loaf pan. My very first Pain de Mie (sandwich bread) came out PERFECT! Per manufacturer's instructions, I washed the bread pan with mild soap and water, then used a paper towel to blot and spread a thin layer of vegetable oil inside and outside both the pan and lid and set on the oven rack at 300 degrees fahrenheit for five minutes. This assure a perfect nonstick coating. Went straight away to bake my bread and it came out a lovely loaf. I can never go back to that unhealthy, spongy, bleached-out, store bought bread again. Excellent pan that will not disappoint!
