I recently did a month-long training course at work and we used Microsoft Teams. After wearing the headset 8 hours a day for several days, I needed a better solution. A quick search led me to this desk microphone. I ordered it and it arrived the next day. Setup was as simple as plugging in a cable, choosing the default microphone in Microsoft Teams, and starting a conversation. Now I can sit back and enjoy my workout, using the laptop's built-in speakers to listen and the microphone to speak. And there's no feedback, and I've had compliments on the sound quality during my calls. Another nice feature is the mute button, which is on a very solid base. A quick press will mute the audio and a red light will illuminate on the button, along with a ring at the top letting you know the audio is live. Another use I've found is the ability to use dictation in Microsoft Word. Now I can dictate emails and other written materials just by speaking. I would definitely recommend this desktop mic to anyone who needs to video conference on a regular basis.
