Review on Convenient Charging/Data Dock for ๐ Garmin Forerunner 920XT: A Must-Have Accessory by Nate Nelson
5 months and the replacement will not load or sync data! UPDATE: Resetting the clock fixed this issue!
This is my second charging/cradle; and it just died. I purchased this through/from Revain on May 16th, 2016 to replace the original cable that died at a bike shop about a year after purchasing the watch. The problem I had with the original was that it stopped my watch from charging (but was able to sync the watch to the Garmin app). Yesterday this REPLACEMENT charger (only 5 months old) apparently also decided to die without notice. Not only is it not charging, I am also unable to sync my data. UPDATE: I contacted Garmin support this morning (after my poor review) and was told that the cable/stands rarely/never fail. He recommended I reset the watch by holding the power button for 30 seconds; Then put the watch back on the stand. The clock restarted and the computer recognized the clock and everything is fine with the world! Thanks to Garmin support.
