This is a very hard toothbrush. I liked it at first, it cleans my teeth really well and keeps my mouth clean, but as I've learned the hard way it shouldn't be used for regular brushing. THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR TEETH! After using it for a year I noticed that some of my teeth have deep grooves just above the gum line which causes tooth sensitivity. In the dental industry, this is referred to as toothbrush abrasion. Like some of the other reviewers, I thought that the reason dentists don't recommend such stiff brushes is because they clean so well and prevent tooth decay, which is why the dentist isn't making any money. It sounded absurd that a brush could damage or "wear down" your teeth. I found the teeth very hard and strong. I learned differently. So this brush can be used very gently about once a week, but not for regular brushing!
