Easy to install, but if you've hooked up a few consider a side box series instead so you have more room to cram all your 12/3 wires in there. 4 inch hole, plug it in and you're done. They sit more evenly than old school lamps and don't get hot. However I had to change the switches, some of the older switches don't work well with the LEDs and they keep turning off at low levels. Although I will say that no matter how bright it is. I replaced four 3" 50 watt lights with these and do not need any other overhead lighting at all in 15x20 rooms. Dope in general, I'll update if they screw up too soon. All of those onboard LEDs are good 'til they die. The only downside really.
