I am not a robe person. I lose ties, things fall open, they are just too fussy, but when I found myself wearing a full length parka at home to stay warm in the winter even with our heater on, I realized I needed something cozy and meant for lounging. This is it. It's a full length giant fuzzy warm blanket with arms, pockets, a hood and pockets. I don't think I look cute in it at all, but man am I happy when I am wrapped up in this thing. The pockets are star shaped, so your fingers split into the two star points when you put your hands in them, but they're still big enough to tote my cell phone around without falling out. Zipper is easy to zip up - maybe i wish i could zip it from the top too with a two-way zipper because sometimes i am lazy to find the end of the zippers at the bottom of the robe, but it hasn't stopped me. Washes up super well - my dog tends to hop onto this whenever I forget it on my office chair so I've already had to wash it several times and it comes out as soft and fluffy as the moment it arrived. I have purchased from ebay since the 90's - and I am not exaggerating when I say that this is among the top 10 things I have ever received in an ebay package on my doorstep. I am 5'9" 160ish lbs and got the L/XL (it is marked XL on the tag) and probably could have sized down and been plenty comfortable, but all the extra blanket means I can tuck my feet up into it and be a plush warm blob whenever my feet get cold. I'll be gifting these to friends until everyone I know has one.
