It's all a damn expensive CLIP. The same result can be achieved by using a paper clip to cross the A and B connectors on the vehicle's CEL connector and reading the flashing Check Engine Light codes on the instrument cluster. It's cheaply made in China, but I have to say that if you short the A and B terminals together to get a reading, it works. Oh, and the book that comes with it is easy to download from the internet. NOTHING! So I just sent a $20 bill to China that was worth 50 cents.
