The old switch stopped working so the light wouldn't come on and the dryer kept running even with the door open. Bought this cheap replacement, took the dryer top apart and replaced the broken part in minutes. All you have to do is disconnect the old part and connect the new part - easy! So far so good after 10 days of use. will update if it's out soon. Most videos on this part show dryers with a lint screen on top where you unscrew it and remove the top. but if you have a dryer with a lint trap in the bottom of the door, like mine, you'll probably have to unscrew the back of the top of the dryer to get the top off.
