This review is for the NPET K10 Wired Backlit Keyboard. Short version - looks cool from a distance. But typing is uncomfortable, and the LEDs aren't adjustable. Good for your 10 year old to spank him. Looks OK, and for less than $15, what do you want? Well, I for one want to be able to change the rainbow highlight to a single color. Blue, red, etc., anything. I haven't found a way to do this. The instructions state (and the reviews comments are the same) that FN + Page UP changes the LED modes. It didn't do anything for me as far as I can tell, FN + Page Up = Brightness Up, FN + Page DN = Brightness Down. The "LED" light button (just above the HOME button) turns the LEDs on or off, or toggles one of 3 rainbow modes. Please note that these are STATIC rainbow modes and will not shift or change colors. If you press FN+LED or FN+HOME, it will go into "breathing mode” when the lights blink and turn off. Actually it's not like that. FN+PG UPFN+↓=light off = FALSE, actually it is FN+PG DNFN+HM=7 permanent colors (7 modes) = FALSE, goes into breathing mode FN+PD=light off = FALSE, it dims the LED light FN+ INS =Change LED colors = FALSE, this does NOTHING FN+PU=Individual LED lighting = FALSE, this increases the brightness of the LED lighting FN+DEL=RGB lighting works (2 modes) = FALSE, this does NOTHING FN+END=7 colors/ 1 breath colors (8 modes) = FALSE, this does NOTHING FN+"=expand LED/decrease breath rate = I don't even know which key this is referring to. Cursor? If so, it does nothing .FN + "= Expand Dyn LED / Breath Participation = I don't even know which key this refers to. Cursor? If so, then it's useless. LED lighting aside. . no height adjustment at all. Even $10 keyboards have little feet on the back to increase or decrease the angle of your typing. NONE here. Those are the keys. SPRING and SPONGE are the best words I can use to describe them. Unpredictably smooth like an HP/DELL/ETC OEM keyboard. but. in a good mood? However. not good. Oops, I made so many typos while writing this. Printing is not comfortable at all. And there are keys. behaved? High? I don't know of a better description, but they sit a lot higher than one would expect. It's like a mechanical keyboard but without the feel. All I wanted was an inexpensive, so-so, backlit keyboard for darkroom use. I'm writing this review right now. I would never take that crap to work. It's so awkward to type and you're trapped in rainbow mode. It is not worth my time and effort to return this item. it will most likely end up in a dumpster or goodwill. Is it better or worse than other LED keyboards under $20? It's difficult to say.
