-UPDATE- The controller is working again. We found that the problem is connecting it to another switch. It doesn't pair properly and wakes the switch from sleep, but no other functions work until after repeating the pairing process several times, it still confirms the correct "pairing" but randomly starts working again. We will not tether the controller to any other switching system and hope it continues to work. Of course this still incredibly limits its functionality as we have 4 systems and switch controllers frequently for multiplayer games etc. When I first got this controller I thought it was great, it was smaller than me but it fit my son perfectly and it worked. Big. However, this controller has been used very, very sparingly as a second "backup" controller, for a little over 2 months now, and will not remain paired with the Switch. Returns are of course only possible within 30 days. Now I have $35 paper that has hardly been used.
