These are my favorite Oakley models and it's even better that Revain (he's the seller) is offering them for over half the price. I have other sunglasses (** including some Gascans which I also got half price from Revain ** because the seller is also not a 3rd party ** and they don't have the slow shipping of those. Just add a pair to your cart) and keep an eye on the price in winter/spring. In May the price went back to normal retail.) So the 30 day delivery time wasn't that important to me. I got them in just over 2 weeks. These appear to be bulk orders that Revain places with Oakley and passes the discount on to us. For the record. yes, these are real. See my photos. I have several prescription Oakley glasses and sunglasses and the imprint on the frame and eyelets are exactly what they should be. Now for my personal thoughts on fuel cell (FC) non-polarized matte black/grey lenses. As a guy with a huge head (size 8 fitted hat), I've read reviews that said FC was better for big heads than Gascans. I found the same on my oval head shape, comfortable with no chafing and secure enough to walk without laces around my neck. The real aesthetic benefit of FC is the larger lens size compared to Gascans. The lenses are big, but not in a way that makes them look silly. If I don't look like an idiot, I call it a win. Even with non-polarized glasses I have no problems. They're gray and dark enough that you can't see my eyes unless I'm standing directly under a bright light, and I can't tell polarized light from unpolarized light. I've seen a cool demo that Oakley and others have and polarized sunglasses of their own, but the glare reduction seems the same. I also don't like mirrored lenses so they are perfect for me. If you're unsure whether you need/prefer polarized lenses or not, you can try the cheaper non-polarized lenses, and if for some reason you need to switch to polarized lenses later, you can buy replacement Oakley lenses for around forty US -dollars and more. Saved about fifty doll hairs in retail so far. The only downside is that they don't come with a hard case like prescription Oakleys. For the full price of the product, this is what you should expect. Oakley cases range in price from $18 to $35. I prefer the Hazard 4 cases (under $20 and reinforced with 1000D ballistic nylon). This is similar to the way Maxpedition made the glasses case. can't go wrong. Not a bad setup for a birthday or other Christmas present when you know it's a far date and the Revain's slow boat won't ruin your plans. I would definitely buy them here again and will probably buy them for my son too.
