This brush is so AMAZING I've ordered one for my sister in law and two more for myself! The lid can be difficult to remove the first time, so don't skip it. You have to use the screw motion when you take it off and again when you put it back on. There is no thread on the lid, but there is a round washer that prevents soap from escaping. After the handle is filled with soap, screw the cap back on and lightly spray on the side button of the pump. That's all you need. The brush is ideal for the corners of small bowls and large teapots. Much better than expensive models with elongated brushes. Also, the bristles are stiff so they do their job and don't bend. It also comes with two extra brushes. NO MORE DISH ON THE TABLE! I just shake them up with my handy brush and they go back in the closet.
