Review on Keurig K Compact Single Serve K Cup Coffee by Trina Piskie

Difficult to use, coffee takes a long time

I bought this coffee maker for my 99 year old mother whose older Keurig coffee maker broke. I was looking for the same model as them but couldn't find it so I went with this model as it was advertised as compact. The first disappointment was that it's bigger than the original car. I was shocked! It looked small in the picture, but it wasn't. The second disappointment is how difficult it is to use. The old car had a lid that lifted. Added water and pressed the button. ¡Voilà! Coffee comes after 2 minutes. He had three different cup sizes, but it depended on the amount of water. The new machine also has three cup sizes. However, we now have to fill the water tank to the maximum. Then wait for the water to heat up, this may take 4 minutes. Then put down the KCup and press down. Cup sizes are highlighted. You choose the cup size and while you still hold the lid tightly, you wait for the coffee to be dispensed. You can't leave, because if you don't press the lid hard, the machine will stop working because the top isn't fixed. Tried several times, thinking of returning.

Pros
  • Our thinnest coffee maker with detachable tank: 36 oz. The removable water tank makes refilling easier.
Cons
  • Money Box Price
