Took for audiobooks on the road. Fit perfectly. I recommend. And it's nice to hold in your hands. My last player (rhythmix) worked for seven years, though with jokes and character. I expect this one to work just as well. And we'll deal with jokes. A few months later the battery died. Then, apparently, it dripped and the buttons stuck. Now in warranty repair. Has some pros Decent sound. Compact. Normal interface. Folders and their contents are visible. Remembers the place where it was turned off. Responsive buttons. Holds a charge for a long time. At least 12 hours of playback. Haven't tried again. Has some cons The clip is oddly placed. So the wire from the headphones goes down, and not up as it should. Small screen. But this is also a virtue. For the display eats a lot of charge. I know from other players with a large display. I just turned on the display to rewind or pause, so consider reducing the listening time by half an hour or an hour.
