Realistic but only orange flame
I was disappointed because I thought this electric fireplace had a different colored flame. I replaced the river stone with a crystal clear stone which I feel gives more of a "fire and ice" look. It makes a good focal point in the room. One heater should be enough to keep you warm on a chilly Northern California morning. I'm curious to see how much my electricity bill will increase next month. This will determine how much I will use it.
