Good heavy duty scissors
Large and a little clunky scissors but I was able to cut a pile of carpet very well. If he can do it, he can do anything! Perfect for my occasional use. However, they're a bit uncomfortable to hold (you have to stretch your thumb out a bit and balance them oddly). So if you intend to use them for long hours of work, I would suggest going for a smaller and more comfortable pair.
