Review on IZOD Sleeve Dress Shirt White Boys' Clothing by Chris Lapan

When it arrived I was very excited to see the package. It looked lovely in the packaging and I was hoping it would fit my 12 year old tall lanky son. It fits pretty well but it's hard to get in now so I don't think it's the shirt. He's tall, thin, and most shirts that match his age either have sleeves that are too short or are too big for the figure - we can't find any long-sleeved, tight, skinny shirts at the moment. The tie is skinny - but it's a style that comes and goes so I'm not aware of that at the moment but I assumed they chose a skinny (NOT ULTRA THIN and NOT PENCIL HUGE - just skinny) tie because she was in fashion right now. Now, I'm not a high school fashion expert, and neither are my kids. My son would never wear a shirt like this but sometimes he needs to dress up and for us it was a great way to kill two birds with one stone. The material is thin but that's a plus for us and also for my son. dislikes heavy material and sometimes challenges us with its texture sensitivity. When he was younger this was a real problem - almost to the point where we considered him "on the spectrum" when it came to clothing textures. He's growing out of it, so it's getting better, but it's still a plus if we can find lightweight materials that don't irritate or bother him. I didn't have the "tie stain" problem that some have reported. That may be because we have a blue shirt and blue and yellow tie and the colors are close enough that there is no problem. Or maybe the color of our tie hasn't faded. I don't know but we haven't had any issues that I've noticed with it. Overall this is not a five star shirt and tie but they are still very good and I don't find them faulty. or have serious problems. It's not very cheap or poorly made. I'm giving it four stars and recommend it if you're looking for an easy to put together outfit that goes with a tie and shirt right out of the bag. The clip on a tie is also useful for a younger child. My son is not ready for a real tie and I am not ready for him to make a real tie because I don't want to tie it every day.
