I've used them a few times to haul lumber and plywood on my trailer and they work well. They have an all-metal ratchet, wide, durable straps, and are easily adjustable. Four stars (would give 4 1/2) just for the hook. It's rubber coated metal and feels very durable, but I wish it was a little more curved. I have large attachment points and they work well when the strap is taut, but it's a bit difficult to keep it hooked when you go to the other side of the trailer to hook the ratchet end. Maybe I'll get better at it, or I'll just bend the hook a little more. I love these straps and they are easy to adjust/use to any length. I've used them with adjustments up to 5ft and up to 14ft. I will buy them again when I need more tapes.
