Cheap unreliable replacement hdd cord, beware.

I bought this cord to replace the old hdd cord for my late 2011 Macbook Pro. For a week and a half it worked, then I smelled something burning in my laptop and it ceased to power up. When I opened the Macbook to inspect the burning smell, this cord was frayed and burnt.

Pros

Quick shipping (via prime) and works as advertised.

Cons

It does not come with the necessary bracket, which means additional time and money must be spent to purchase one separately
