This hat is much thinner than it looks. The hat's reversibility is nice but annoying and doesn't make it easy to switch from the gray side to the black side. It's not warm enough for weather <10 degrees and doesn't stop the wind well. However, this is a good hat for running, the thickness of the hat doesn't matter if you are active. If you're looking for a hat to wear while heading to class on a cold campus, then this isn't for you.
