Review on Kbrotech Bike Out-Front Mount: Ultimate Combo Mount for Garmin Bryton Gopro Flashlight - 31.8mm 25.4mm Handlebar Compatible by Dusty Tofte

I don't know why people give it 5 stars

Kbrotech damaged the mounting plate of my bike computer. This product was not built with great precision. My bike computer mounts and makes a very nice tactile click. But unfortunately the tabs on my bike computer mounting plate warped because the perimeter piece on kbrotech was too tight. On the other hand, the depth of Kbrotech is too deep. Therefore, when the device is installed, it shakes. Is it tight but loose? That sounds great on paper. Aluminum, suitable for Garmins, Cat-Eye bike computers. Below that is another GoPro-style mount that can also hold a flashlight. It's just so carefree. Another reviewer said that the flimsy, cheap plastic mount broke. I was outraged when I first read this. Now I believe in it. If I had to consider aluminum parts I would put 4. Seems good enough. It's like a $2 eBay special. Mine was scratched. The silver is darker than in the photo. I was expecting raw aluminum silver. It has been anodized darker. If I had to reconsider Garmin's plastic mount, I'd give it a 0.

Pros
  • You can mount a GoPro Hero and Garmin Edge computer together on a bike handlebar. Allows you to easily view performance data on your Edge cycling computer and capture images with your GoPro.
Cons
  • The list will be long.
