Review on E-SS515C Open-Toe Sandal with Clipless Design by Josh Elkins

FINALLY a cycling shoe that supports wide feet/bumps

FINALLY a shoe that works! I use them for indoor cycling/backriding. I have wide feet/bumps and after trying on 5 different types of shoes I went to a bike shop, measured my foot, went through the whole process of ordering the shoes - waiting for the shoes to arrive - trying on the shoes - just one more Bike course when I find a shoe my foot hurts. In the end the bike shop said there was nothing they could do until my bursitis was fixed. I decided to check out Revain to see if there are other options for people like me. I was happy to find these sandals, they are wide enough for my feet and I can adjust the straps if my feet start to hurt. I highly recommend this for people with very wide feet and/or bursitis. The shoes are a bit large (I ordered a size larger than I usually wear as my size was out of stock). I agree the shoes are a bit heavy, very roomy but they also allow me to move my feet/toes if I feel any discomfort (my foot gets numb after a while but this has happened with ALL shoes). I've tried, these sandals are the rarest! I'm sure it's just my leg). I would order again if I need cycling shoes again. They also go well with socks (I know it's gone out of style, but they go well with my odd feet / make them comfortable).

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Periodicity
