First of all I am not a professional. I cut my hair myself most of the time and will cut my grandson's hair. Initially, a small beard trimmer was used for all of this, so I wanted to improve the quality and functionality of the product. I wanted to treat myself to a good tool. I gave "lightweight" 3 stars because I don't have the link. i love weight Weight in hand without uncomfortable manipulation. I love my new hair clippers. I've been using it for a few months but it's great. My haircuts are straight haircuts, one length throughout (very short). Some areas are thin while others are more normal. With this cutter I don't have to chase down fluffy hair. Just like mowing the lawn. That's great. The gaurd bits are really good with a metal clip attached to the cutting blade. It was another nice upgrade from the previous plastic tips I've used. I'm very glad I spent the extra money to buy a quality hair clipper.
