Let me start by saying that I'm a healthy skeptic about everything in life. I don't believe everything I read on the internet. However, this product caught my eye on the bestseller list and piqued my interest. I just went through a painful breakup and needed some energy and I had extra funds in my Revain account so I thought why not? As the kids say, YOLO. The smell wasn't bad as some reviews would like you to believe, but everyone has different opinions on what smells good and what doesn't. I agree with other reviewers that this is some sort of powdery, musky, vanilla scent. It suits me as vanilla is one of my go-to scents (and preferred by men according to research). The night I received it, I put it on and went about my business. Many hours later I could still smell it, probably in part due to the fact that it's an oil. I put on a bit and ended up doing the conditioner because the smell made me nauseous! I work in a small office building with a few hundred people working every day and the turnover is low so you see the same faces day after day. The very first day I put it on, a man who had never spoken to me before (for many years) spoke on the stairs. Strange coincidence! There have been other, smaller instances of additional heat from other people in the building as well as my colleagues. offset validation? Maybe, but I still enjoy it. Maybe some people come with too aggressive expectations of this product: if you wear it for three days, men won't stay around you, sorry. But there is potential for small improvements in interaction or how you're perceived. And at least you're wearing a scent that men are likely to love.
